Hi everyone! Did you all have a good weekend? I had an awesome time at my first bloggers meetup in Edinburgh. House of Pinheiro invited me to join her sewing blogger friends for a day of fun chitchat, fabric shopping and pattern swapping followed by a delish dinner at the opulently grand Voodoo Rooms! I can't really sew and didnt know anyone there but everyone was just so lovely, warm and welcoming! Me and House of Pinheiro decided to make a weekend of it see the sights of the city and my gosh Im so glad I did...Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited!! If you have the chance definitely go and visit! You wont regret it!

ReplyDeleteBut now I get the idea. The photos looks almost like paintings!! so beautiful!
Hey Niv! I'm glad I could give you an idea of they are like...This vintage store was just how you would imagine... erratic full of randomness to inspire your creative flair together with rails of fur coats, 1920s flapper dresses, vintage wedding dresses, fun hats, bags, shoes, leopard prints, tartan, silks, velvets...it was fun to look around! and the city....that really is what it looks like...no fancy cameras or photoshopping...real beauty! x
DeleteThis looks like so much fun! Since i've relocated to a teeny-tiny town, we have no vintage shops or drool-worthy fabric shops. You really have some great photography skills. :) Always enjoy reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteah thanks Jen..ur so sweet! My photography skills really are not all that...those pics are completely down to the sheer beauty of the city and luck that we didnt get any rain! lol
